Alan "Papa Al" Earnest, age 65, was tragically taken from us in a car accident on February 13th, 2021. He was born on August 26th, 1955 and raised in Tampa, FL. He served in the US Army and later became a Firefighter with the City of Tampa.
Alan was a jack of all trades, he loved motorcycles and his beloved dog Coco bug. He was a true country boy at heart, he never met a stranger and was loved by all. He would drop everything for someone in need and give you the shirt off his back.
Spending time with his children and grandchildren was everything to him. From theme parks, camping and canoeing to movies in the park or just sitting at home. You could always count on him to be at school events to support his grandchildren, he loved just being with us.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Earnest, and granddaughter, Hailey Earnest and stepfather, Ed Hamilton. He is survived by his mother, Agnes Hamilton, brother, Rick Earnest, nephew, Christopher, Aunt, Mary Murphy, and stepmother, Fawn Earnest.
He was a wonderful dad to 3 children. Daughter Tina (Angel) Solarte, and sons David (Dana) and Shaun Earnest.
Alan loved being a grandfather, he wasn't just any Grandpa, he was one of a kind. Papa Al to 7 grandchildren-Kersti, Lexi, Abrianna, Shianne, Nikki, Jayce, and Ariel, and 1 great grandson, Gabriel.
Papa Al is riding free in Paradise but Always in our hearts. We miss you and love you Daddy. Xoxo
