Amy Katherine Prodan

Amy Katherine Prodan, 51, of New Port Richey, passed away Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at HCA Trinity Hospital after succumbing to infection. 

Amy was born February 1st, 1972 in Traverse City, Michigan to her parents Lois and Raymond Zollner. She attended school in Cheboygan Michigan. 

Amy loved helping people and poured her heart into her work. She studied to earn her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and went on to become a social worker at Pasco Kids First. 
Amy loved the ocean, and would visit the beach at every available opportunity. She loved to read and write. Her favorite music was that of the 80s, and she must have known every lyric to every song from that era. 
Amy is survived by her two children, Katherine Prodan (Alex Wright), 22, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Zander Prodan, 15, of New Port Richey, her sister Kathy Zollner (Bob Miller) of Scottsville, Kentucky, and her father Raymond Zollner of Cheboygan Michigan, as well as her nephews Bryson and Brayden Richer and niece Kallie Richer. She also leaves behind a loving community of friends, colleagues and clients. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Zollner.
