Angela (Mary) Famulari, 97, beloved widow of Louis Famulari, and mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother entered into eternal life on May 4, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, siblings and granddaughter, Melissa.
Mary worked as a postal worker and enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, bingo, knitting and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren and great great-granddaughter.
Mary was born on November 4, 1923, in Corona, Queens, New York. She was the daughter of Donato and Mary Cillis, who immigrated to the United States from Pietragalla, Italy, in the early 1900's. Mary grew up in Queens, New York, with her sister, Rose and three brothers, Teddy, Tony and Danny. In 1985, Mary moved to New Port Richey, Florida, to be near her family who had also relocated from New York to Florida.
Mary is survived by her son, Vincent, and daughters, Sandra (Joe), Susan (Paul, dec'd), and Sharon (Raymond), grandchildren Christopher, Scott, Melissa (dec'd) Michael (Trish) and Heather (Michael), great grandchildren Kevin, Matthew, Hunter, Kyleigh, and Alexa, great great-granddaughter, Zoey and Goddaughter, Madeline. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins from around the country and in Italy.
Visitation will held on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Morgan Funeral Home, 6025 Trouble Creek Road, in New Port Richey, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in New Port Richey at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Interment will be at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey immediately following the Mass.
