Bonnie Gale Watson

Bonnie Gale Watson (nee Poultney) 57 years of age of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on August 6th, 2022 with Allen (her husband of 40 years) by her side. Bonnie was born September 13th, 1965 in Passaic NJ by her parents Gail Audrey Bosland and George Fredrick Poultney JR., who both preceded her in death. Bonnie is survived by her husband Ronald Allen Watson, children Rodney Allen Watson of St Augustine FL, Ryan Allen Watson of Temple Terrace FL and what she considered to be her third child, her beloved Shiba Inu TyKu. Bonnie is also survived by her siblings: half-brother twins Rickey and Mike Conklin, sisters Patricia Ann Poultney Kirsling, Sandra Lynn Poultney Garlic, and half-brother Thomas John Mosher. She was preceded in death by her brother George Fredrick Poultney III. Bonnie was a licensed, registered dietician working for the Florida Department of Health for 28 years. Most recently at what she had described as her dream job, that of being the Public Health Nutrition Program Director for the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County, where she considered her coworkers to be extended family. Bonnie was also heavily involved in the Florida Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND). Bonnie enjoyed boat rides and walking with TyKu, but most of all she enjoyed spending her time off with family divided between St Augustine and Disney World. A celebration of life will be held by her immediate family.
