Caroline Swanson Greenlee, 90, entered into eternal rest on May 26, 2023, at her home in New Port Richey, FL. She was born August 20, 1932 in Albion, PA, to Thelma and Duane Swanson. Caroline was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wallace, her parents, her brothers Roger and Gerald Swanson, and one grandson, T.J. Williams. She is survived by her children, Dan (Anna) Greenlee of New Port Richey, FL, David (Teresa) Greenlee of Strongsville, OH, and Dana (Roy) Williams of Beaver Center, PA, a sister, Janice Sullins, and a brother, Carl Swanson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Albion, PA, and was a graduate of Albion schools. She was the office manager at U.S. Scrap Metals, where she worked for 20 years without ever missing a day. She was an avid blood donor, giving over 30 gallons of blood over the years. She and Wally were members of the Conneaut Boat Club for years and enjoyed many happy days on Lake Erie. After she retired, she and Wally moved to Florida where they loved the weather, the beach, and never being cold in the winter. She was an active member of her Florida community, enjoying the weekly card games, the dances, and the get-togethers at the clubhouse. She was a wonderful mom, a loving grandma, and a devoted sister, and we were blessed to have had her in our lives.
