Elenore M. Wynkoop

Elenore “Elli” M. Wynkoop, 86, of New Port Richey, FL passed away on 3/10/23.  She was born on June 14th, 1936. Elli was a Syracuse native until relocating to Florida in 2015. She graduated from Syracuse Central High School and attended airline school prior to working for Eastern & American Airlines. Later on she worked for MONY and in the banking industry, for Onondaga Savings & retired from HSBC.

 

Elli enjoyed playing & watching sports. Her favorites were college basketball (SU) & ice hockey (Tampa Bay Lightning). She loved the outdoors & spending time at her camp with family & friends where she enjoyed boating, ATV riding & playing various games which she was very competitive at. Elli also loved to travel & was excellent at solving crossword puzzles.

 

She also had a strong love for her many pets throughout the years.

 

Elli was predeceased by her parents Otto & Rosa Gomeringer, her husband Peter S. Wynkoop and her son Matthew W. Price. She is survived by her Daughter, Jennifer M. Price, Son, Charles M. Price, Granddaughter, Christina M. Price (Grant Lanclos) & a Great Granddaughter on the way, all of Tampa Bay, FL. She is also survived by stepchildren, William Wynkoop, Hope Grady & 5 step grandchildren.

 

Services will be private.
