Helen Bobbie, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 23, 2019. Born & raised in Taylor, PA. Helen, and her late husband, Walter, raised their family in Lincoln Park, NJ and in 1973, they moved to Holiday, FL.
Helen was a hairdresser for over 60 years and owned three beauty salons – PA, NJ and FL. She loved attending the HairShow/Conventions and one of the last one she attended, she was voted “oldest hairdresser with the best legs”.
Helen loved traveling – Las Vegas and Biloxi being her top two locations. She also loved Bingo and canasta.
Her beloved husband, Walter, died in 1987. Helen is survived by her four children – Walter and husband David of NYC; Marilyn Gallagher of Port Richey, FL; Kenneth and wife Colleen of Anchorage, AK; Anthony and wife Elizabeth of New Port Richey, FL.
She will also be dearly missed by her three grandchildren – Sean(Allison), Jennifer (Shawn), Jonathan (Sara) and her five great-grandchildren who affectionately called her Grandma2 – Caera, Olivia, Charles, Jackson and Charlotte.
