Helen M Davis

Helen M. Davis, born on May 31, 1926 in Ithaca, NY; died October 8, 2024.  Helen was preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Margaret and Stanley Davis, and her brother William.

In 1947, Helen entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph in Rochester, NY and served as teacher and principal in many Diocesan Catholic schools.  Helen returned to Ithaca to care for her mother, and then moved to New Port Richey, Florida where she continued her ministry of teaching and school administration at Anclote Elementary School.  It was there she cultivated loving friendships that lasted to the end of her days.

Helen derived great satisfaction serving in her parish, Our Lady Queen of Peace, and celebrating so many good times with her dearest friends.  Helen would be the first to say she lived "A Wonderful Life."  She is survived by a cousin, Trink and her husband.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. Viewing and visitation will take place at Morgan Funeral Home, New Port Richey, on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.
