Former Rochester, PA resident, John P. Alberti, 78, died peacefully October 7, 2015 at his home in Tarpon Springs, FL. Mr. Alberti was born April 24, 1937 in Rochester, PA to John Joseph Alberti and Marie Rosepiler. He is survived by his wife Joanne Fidanzata Alberti, 4 children, Lisa Use’ of Nashville, TN, Jonna Turner of New Orleans, LA, Richard Boyles of Las Vegas, NV and Danielle Miller of Pittsburgh, PA, along with 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard and George Alberti and sister, Maryanne Guy. He is predeceased by brothers Charles and Robert (Bob). He serviced in the United States Army from 1959 through 1962. John was a very active man. As one of the founding members of the Beaver Valley Skydiving club, he made over 400 jumps. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his later years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle cross country. He will forever be loved and missed by his family.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 10th, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 with service to follow. Burial will be Monday, October 12th, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
