Joseph W Knutelski, 76, of Trinity passed away January 23, 2024. He was born in Newark, NJ and resided in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Twsp, NJ before to Trinity in 2001, with his wife Joann Sopris Knutelski.
Joe was predeceased by his parents Beatrice and Walter Knutelski. Joe is survived by his loving wife Joann, his daughter Laura Knutelski from South Amoy, NJ, his stepdaughter Shannon Sopris from Deep River, CT, and his brother Ronald Knutelski and wife Maureen Knutelski of Powder Springs, GA. Also survived by nieces Janice Campos of NJ and Shannon Perez of GA.
Joe was an United States Marine veteran serving in active duty during the Vietnam War. Joe was a parishioner at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic church in Trinity, Fl. Joe was previously employed by the Woodbridge Township Public works department for many years before retiring. Joe belonged to The Knights of Columbus at St. Peter's. He was a loving caring man who always was there to help those in need. His love will be missed.
Other than his family and dog snoopy, Joe enjoyed a good cigar, a cold beer and his daily fishing trip to waterfront park to fish; unfortunately, Joe never caught a fish, but he did enjoy the time. Joe enjoyed spending time with his neighbor friend Mike having lunch or shooting the breeze.
Memorial Services will be at Bay Pines National Cemetary in St Petersburg, FL on Friday February 2, 2024 @ 12:30pm.
