Lloyd Lane Kendrick, Sr. of New Port Richey, Florida, son of Ira Martis Kendrick and Cilla Grimes, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the age of 92. He was born on December 31, 1927 with his twin brother, Boyd, in Chelsea, Alabama. He was the last child of six.
Lloyd was in the Army during the Korean War as a PFC. He met the love of his life, Milouise Marie Davis. They married on April 12, 1952 and were a devoted couple of 65 years until her passing in 2017. Lloyd worked at Copes Vulcan Co. in Erie, PA for 30 years as a welder until he retired to Florida in 1990 where most of his family lives to this day. His hobbies included: fishing, hunting, golfing, and gardening.
Lloyd is survived by his seven children: Lloyd Jr., Gordon, Carolyn, Christy, Robin, Bob and Craig; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. He will be missed wholeheartedly by his loving family and friends. His resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery. Loving remembrance may be expressed below.
