Loretta Arlene Ferrara

Loretta Arlene Ferrara, 78, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on January 1, 2024.  She was born and raised in Carteret, New Jersey to the late Mary Tryba and Frank Ferrence.  She raised her family in Edison, New Jersey and eventually settled in New Port Richey with her beloved husband, the late Anthony R. Ferrara who passed away in March 2023.

She worked for many years at Jersey Bell, AT&T and GTE.  She enjoyed dining out, shopping, traveling, bowling and raising her Boxers, her favorite breed.

Her passions were collecting Coca Cola and Gone With The Wind memorabilia.  She was known for baking cakes for family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances making people feel appreciated and welcome.

Loretta was predeceased by her brother Eugene Ferrence.  She is survived by her daughters Kristen Ruggiero, Kimberly Hayes and a son, Anthony Ferrara, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two siblings, Frank and Dawn Ferrence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11^th at 8:30 am, followed by a Mass at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas.  Burial immediately following at East Elfers Cemetary.
