Peggy A Bowerman

Peggy Bowerman, 83, of New Port Richey, passed away on December 30th surrounded by family.

Peggy was born on July 11th, 1939, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Carl and Alice Miller. Shortly thereafter, the Miller family moved to St. Petersburg, FL where Peggy grew up and graduated from Boca Ciega High School in 1959.

Peggy's love for travel brought her to Chicago where she became an airline stewardess.  While in Chicago, she met her husband, Richard Bowerman.  They then moved to Florida to raise their three children.  Peggy worked at Community Hospital in New Port Richey as a nurse for over 30 years.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach, travelling, and most of all, time with her family.  She was also an avid Bucs and Rays fan.

Peggy is survived by her former husband Richard Bowerman, son Richard Bowerman, Jr., Scott Bowerman (Laura), Amy McDowell (Clint-deceased), and grandchildren, Tyler Bowerman, Sabrina Bowerman, and Shaylee McDowell.
