Thomas R. Pipes was born April 24, 1941 in Lafayette, IN to the late Oscar and Cleofa Pipes. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School where he excelled and lettered in golf. He married Mary Dilley in 1966 and divorced six years later. Tom worked in a couple different industries before starting Hoosier Food Service Alliance in the Lafayette and West Lafayette area, which he managed for several years. In 1997, he relocated to Port Richey, FL and continued his work in the food and beverage industry before getting involved with security for a short time before his retirement. He continued to be an avid golfer throughout his life, as well as a big fan and supporter of the Tampa Bay Bucs. He thoroughly loved living in FL and never regretted relocating there. Surviving is his son Rob Pipes who resides in Lafayette, IN. Also surviving is his brother Douglas Pipes and wife Ally, along with their two children, Matthew (wife Christy) and Stephanie (husband David) and their families, all who live in the Tampa Bay area.
